Meet the Founder

Hello, I’m Chrissy, the founder and creative force behind Elyx Skin. With a background in business and a lifelong love of skincare, beauty and luxury, building a brand felt less like a decision and more like an expression of who I am.

My journey began in February 2021 with Elysian De’luxx, born from the remarkable results of my own handmade whipped body butters. What started as a personal passion soon became a purpose: to create products that make people feel beautiful in their skin, bringing together my devotion to quality, self-care and everyday luxury.

The path was not always a straight one. In early 2025, I made the brave decision to step back. The brand no longer reflected my vision, and rather than rush forward, I chose to pause, reflect, and give myself the space to define what I truly wanted it to become.

By February 2026, that vision had come into focus. I returned with renewed purpose and a clear intention: finer formulations, higher-quality ingredients, an elevated customer experience, and a brand that felt refined, intentional and unmistakably mine. Elysian De’luxx became Elyx Skin, a name that is shorter, more memorable and more luxurious. The visual identity was reimagined, the logo evolved, and personalised packaging was introduced to make every order feel distinctly Elyx.

Wellbeing sits at the heart of this new chapter, and so does my love of travel. As an avid traveller, I know how much a quiet moment of self-care can restore you, whether you’re at home or halfway around the world. That inspired the eye patches, designed to refresh and revive wherever you are.

For me, wellbeing is also about movement. Time at the gym and a good workout are part of how I look after myself, and I believe caring for your skin and caring for your body belong together. That inspired the personalised Elyx Skin headband, made to keep your hair back and your focus on your ritual, whether you’re training, travelling or simply getting ready.

This was never simply a new name or a new look. It was a fresh start.

Since launching on 3 October 2026, Elyx Skin has been built on quality, nature, wellness, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin. I continue to shape it with the same passion that started it all, and a far clearer vision: thoughtful skincare that celebrates natural skin, inspires self-care, and brings a touch more luxury to everyday rituals.

Elyx Skin was born from a quiet conviction: radiant skin begins with feeling at home in your own skin. Made in England and rooted in the heritage of Sierra Leone and Ghana, Elyx Skin unites refined, modern skincare with the understated luxury of naturally derived ingredients, sourced with intention from the places that inspire us. Each formula is created for skin in all its forms, from dry and sensitive to blemish-prone, and designed to leave it nourished, comforted and cared for.

Every detail is considered, from the first ingredient to the final texture, so each product feels as exquisite as it performs.
