A West African bathing ritual, reimagined for your shower. The Sapo (known as Sapor in Ghana) is a long woven net sponge, sourced directly from the markets of Freetown, Sierra Leone, where it has been used for generations.

Its textured mesh builds a rich, creamy lather from very little cleanser and reaches every part of the body, including the back. Used regularly, it buffs away dead skin and rough patches, leaving skin smooth, soft and visibly refined.

• Wet the Sapo and add your favourite body wash
• Work into a lather using gentle, circular motions
• Use light pressure on delicate areas, and a softer touch on the face
• Rinse well and hang to dry; the open weave releases water quickly
